Most company social accounts talking to developers get ignored — or worse, screenshotted for the wrong reasons. Developers can smell marketing from three timelines away, which means the only way to do this job well is to actually be one of them: someone who reads the model release notes for fun, has opinions about agent frameworks, and knows the difference between a post that earns a reply and one that earns a mute. We're not looking for a social media manager who can learn tech. We're looking for someone deep in the agentic AI world who happens to be exceptional at making the internet care.

You'll thrive as a Senior Developer Advocate if you:

are obsessed with making the best product for our customers

are known as the go-to person for tackling tough problems

are focused on polish, detail and quality

are a fast learner, frequently picking up new tips, tricks, and skills

The best way to impress us is with thoughtful ways you'd implement LiveKit, and potentially tinkering with it 😊

Own LiveKit's voice across X, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, and our blog — writing content that developers find credible, useful, and worth sharing

Turn product launches into social campaigns that reach and excite developers, from the first teaser to the launch-day thread

Show up in developer conversations about agentic AI as a real participant, not a brand account doing drive-by engagement

Keep engagement high and measure what works — impressions, views, comments — and connect it to real developer awareness and adoption

Work closely with engineering, product, and DevRel to translate what we're building into content that lands

You've built or grown a developer audience on social — and you can show the receipts

You're an exceptional writer who adapts voice and format across platforms without losing the plot

You're deeply interested in agentic AI and follow the space closely enough to have takes

You're metrics-minded: you form hypotheses, test them, and let engagement data change your approach

A genuine interest in voice AI — or better, you've already built something with a voice agent

Your own developer following on X, TikTok, or elsewhere

Experience at an AI or developer-tools company where developers were the audience

You've deleted a fully drafted post because the joke wasn't

Seniority Level

LiveKit is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate, Social to lead their presence across X, Reddit, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The role involves creating credible technical content, managing social campaigns for product launches, and engaging with the agentic AI community to drive developer adoption of LiveKit's voice AI infrastructure.

You'll be building the demand gen function from a real foundation, not patching around one, with a sales org that actually wants what you're building.

You'll thrive as a Demand Generation Manager if you:

are a fast learner, frequently picking up new tools and skills

Design, launch, and own always-on demand gen campaigns (paid, email nurture, content syndication) that keep pace with a rapidly growing sales team's pipeline needs

Build and manage the campaign calendar and reporting cadence, giving sales and marketing leadership a clear view of MQL/SQL flow

Partner directly with sales leadership and reps to align campaigns to territory and segment expansion, so new hires ramp with pipeline in hand

Manage lead scoring, routing, and attribution so we can show — not just claim — what's working

Run experiments across channels (paid social, paid search, webinars, retargeting, ABM) and double down on what generates pipeline, not just clicks

4+ years running demand generation or growth marketing campaigns end-to-end in B2B SaaS

Hands-on experience with paid, email, and content-driven campaigns. You've built and run these yourself, not just briefed an agency

Comfortable partnering closely with a fast-growing sales and SDR team, adjusting to what they actually need, and developing integrated campaigns that heavily involve collaboration with sales

Strong command of marketing automation and attribution tooling (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar)

Data-driven — you can tie a campaign to a number sales actually cares about

Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on the fly

Experience working on field events, driving attendance, follow-ups, and promotion

Experience marketing to developers or technical buyers

Experience scaling a demand gen function alongside a rapidly growing sales team

Some familiarity with voice AI, real-time infrastructure, or WebRTC — or the willingness to nerd out and learn fast

LiveKit is seeking a Demand Generation Manager to build and own the demand generation function. The role involves designing always-on campaigns across paid, email, and content channels to drive pipeline for a B2B SaaS platform specializing in voice AI infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing lead scoring, attribution, and partnering with sales leadership.

Demand Generation Manager

This is an engineering role with a support component, not the other way around. The bulk of the job is building and owning systems: the identity model in Okta, endpoint baselines in Workspace ONE, governance across Google Workspace and the wider SaaS estate, and the automation that determines how much manual work IT has to absorb in the first place. You'll also carry escalations and some direct support — at our size there's no clean wall between the two, and the person in this role needs to stay close enough to the queue to know which problems are worth engineering away.

You'll work in an Okta, Workspace ONE, Google Workspace, and Slack stack, partnered closely with Security, Engineering, People, and Finance. Internal systems are in audit scope for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI, so the controls you build have to hold up under an auditor's review, not just function day to day.

obsess with crafting code that is fast, reliable and practical for the problem

are known as the go-to person for tackling tough technical problems

can clearly explain complex technical concepts to others

are a fast learner, frequently picking up new languages and tools

Own identity and access engineering in Okta — group strategy, app assignments, SSO configuration, lifecycle automation, and access request patterns that are secure without being miserable to use

Run endpoint engineering across a macOS-first fleet in Workspace ONE — provisioning, configuration baselines, patching, encryption posture, inventory hygiene, and compliance reporting

Administer Google Workspace and Slack at scale: user lifecycle, groups, shared drives, permissions, roles, and the governance patterns that keep them from drifting

Bring the SaaS estate under real governance — who owns each tool, who has access, what it costs, and what happens to all three when someone changes teams or leaves

Build the automation that keeps IT load from scaling with headcount — onboarding, deprovisioning, access reporting, device compliance, and whatever else you catch yourself doing twice

Translate security, compliance, and engineering requirements into IT controls that generate their own audit evidence instead of a quarterly scramble

Serve as the technical escalation point for complex issues across identity, access, endpoints, and internal infrastructure — and then engineer the class of problem out of existence

4+ years in IT engineering, IT operations, systems administration, endpoint engineering, or identity engineering — ideally somewhere fast-moving and remote-first

You've administered Okta or a comparable identity provider as the owner: SSO, groups, app assignments, lifecycle workflows, real access management decisions

Hands-on with modern MDM — Workspace ONE or equivalent — including provisioning, configuration enforcement, patching, encryption, and inventory

Strong Google Workspace administration and genuine macOS endpoint depth

You've built or meaningfully improved operational workflows, automation, reporting, or internal controls — not just operated someone else's

An excellent writer. You can explain a technical decision clearly, document a system so the next person doesn't have to reverse-engineer it, and keep stakeholders informed without burying them

Strong ownership and judgment. You can prioritize under ambiguity and you build things that reduce future work rather than adding to it

You want to stay hands-on. This is an individual contributor role, and the work is building and operating systems, not managing people who do

Experience supporting security and compliance work — SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, access reviews, audit evidence, or control implementation

Fluency with device security posture: EDR, disk encryption, patch compliance, vulnerability management, access hygiene

Scripting and automation with Bash, Python, Google Apps Script, Okta Workflows, or raw APIs

Experience designing IT processes that work across time zones for a globally distributed team, including the particular joy of international hardware logistics

Work alongside world-class engineers building in the open

Remote work environment with the equipment you need

If the idea of owning identity, endpoints, and automation end to end sounds like your kind of job, we'd love to hear from you.

LiveKit is seeking an IT Engineer to build and own internal systems, focusing on identity management in Okta, endpoint baselines in Workspace ONE, and governance across Google Workspace and Slack. The role involves automating IT workflows and ensuring compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI standards.

IT Engineer

We are looking for an exceptional engineer to build post-training at LiveKit. Our agents run over voice and increasingly over text channels like SMS and chat, and the interesting problems show up over long horizons: staying useful across many sessions, working with context that accumulates over time, and using tools reliably in the middle of a live conversation.

Build the environments and verifiers our models train against

Own the synthetic data pipeline, from generation through the quality gates

Run training experiments end to end, and explain what moved the model

Build the evaluations a release has to clear

Choose and adapt open-weight base models for our tasks

Make trained behavior hold up for voice and text agents alike

Ship models into production and keep improving them on real usage

Have carried a model from raw data through to production

Treat data as the product: coverage, diversity, leakage

Assume a model will exploit a weak reward, and design against it

Comfortable with GPUs and honest about their limits

Comfortable working collaboratively in a remote environment

Experience with post-training: fine-tuning, reward design, or reinforcement learning such as GRPO

RL and fine-tuning frameworks such as TRL, verl, or OpenRLHF, or a training loop you wrote yourself

Fast rollouts with vLLM or SGLang, multi-GPU training with FSDP

Execution sandboxes, verifiers, eval harnesses, or tooling other engineers depend on

Open-weight families such as Qwen or Llama, LoRA and similar

The opportunity to shape the brand of a fast-growing developer platform

Collaboration with a small, senior team that deeply values craft and creativity

LiveKit is seeking a Research Engineer (Reinforcement Learning) to build post-training infrastructure for voice and text AI agents. Key responsibilities include owning synthetic data pipelines, running training experiments, and shipping open-weight models into production using Python.

Research Engineer (Reinforcement Learning)

We're looking for the first Product Manager for LiveKit Telephony: how AI agents utilize the global phone network. Landlines, mobile networks, and enterprise phone systems already connect nearly every person and business on earth. Making an agent a first-class participant on that network is what turns voice AI from a demo into something that picks up a real phone number and does real work.

Our PM team is small and high-leverage, with each PM coming in to establish the foundations in a new area of the business. Telephony is essential to many of the highest-value voice AI use cases running today: call centers, customer support, healthcare triage, outbound sales, appointment scheduling. A large share of our growth comes from enterprises putting agents on the phone at massive volume, and every one of those calls runs through this product.

You'll shape the direction and roadmap for Telephony alongside the engineering leaders who build it, across both sides of the product. On one side is SIP trunking, where enterprises bring the carriers and phone systems they already have and everything has to interoperate, stay up, and sound good. On the other is LiveKit Phone Numbers, our native offering, where we own the carrier relationships and hand a developer a working number in a couple of clicks. Going native lets us control the whole path a call takes, which means fewer hops, better audio, and quality we can actually tune. We intend to offer the fastest and best sounding connection an agent can get, anywhere in the world, and you'll decide how quickly we get there and how far the footprint reaches.

This role can be based remotely or in our SF HQ, where you'll be part of a collaborative in-office culture!

The best way to impress us is by trying LiveKit's product, understanding the space, and bringing smart thoughts and opinions to the table.

Build a clear point of view on where the product is going, and decide what gets built and when, in partnership with engineering.

SIP has as many interpretations as there are vendors. Decide what compatibility we take on, and when, so connecting an existing carrier, PBX, or contact center platform is straightforward instead of a project.

Extend LiveKit Phone Numbers well beyond its US starting point, with the country coverage and regulatory footing to make buying a number from us the obvious choice.

Understand how teams actually run phone-based agents in production, from the first trunk they configure to the calls that go wrong, and let that shape priorities.

Telephony is already a meaningful business with real carrier costs behind it. Own pricing, packaging, and margin as volume grows and our footprint expands.

, at a senior or staff level, with substantial experience managing a developer-facing products in particular.

You can reason about protocols, media paths, latency, call quality, and failure modes, and earn the trust of strong engineers. You don't need to write code, but you need to understand systems well enough to make good tradeoffs.

You've owned a product where uptime and quality were the core of the job, and you're comfortable in a domain where failure is immediate and obvious to a person on the other end of a live call.

You influence through clarity, trust, and good judgment, not process or hierarchy.

You form deep connection with customer needs, and translate that into the prioritized roadmap with the engineering team. You ensure everything we ship is polished, focused, and solves real problems for customers.

You write clearly, present well, and can move between a board-level strategy conversation and a detailed technical discussion with an engineering lead.

We're a small product team at a fast-growing company. You'll figure out what matters, prioritize ruthlessly, and move quickly without perfect information.

Built a telephony, CPaaS, SIP, or voice communications product that customers ran production call volume on

Familiarity with SIP, RTP/SRTP, DTMF, voice codecs, and call transfer

Experience working with carriers: interconnects, number provisioning and porting, and telecom regulation and compliance

Background at a developer tools, infrastructure, or communications company

Familiarity with voice AI, real-time communication, or contact center platforms

Experience with usage-based pricing models and cost or margin optimization

LiveKit is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Telephony to build the infrastructure allowing AI agents to utilize the global phone network. The role involves owning the telephony roadmap, managing SIP trunking and native phone number offerings, and optimizing pricing and margins for developer-facing voice AI products.
